PTO membership is annual and is valid for the entire school year. We hope you'll join us each year and continue supporting Murphy students, teachers, and staff!

PTO meetings are held once a month on Tuesdays. This year, all meetings will be virtual to make it easier for more parents and caregivers to participate.

Meeting dates and information will be shared throughout the year on our website and Instagram.

There are plenty of ways to get involved, whether you have an hour to give or would like to take on a larger role.

Volunteers help run the Murphy School Store each day and support events throughout the year, including our Scholastic Book Fair, student treats and activities, and faculty and staff appreciation events. Parents and caregivers can also chair events and fundraisers, including our McDonald's fundraiser, Basket fundraiser, and more.

We'll share volunteer opportunities throughout the school year, so you can choose what works best for your schedule.

Not at all! We know families are busy, and we appreciate your support in whatever way works for you. In addition to volunteering, you can support the PTO by sponsoring a teacher lunch, purchasing an item from our Amazon Wish List, participating in fundraisers, or simply following and engaging with us on Instagram.

Every contribution—whether it's your time, financial support, or participation—helps strengthen our Murphy community.

The Murphy PTO is a nonprofit organization, and the funds we raise are used to support our students and school community. Proceeds help fund student programs, activities, enrichment opportunities, and other initiatives that enhance the Murphy experience.

In addition, we'll send a quarterly PTO newsletter through School Messenger with updates about what we've been doing, what's coming up, and ways to get involved.
